The BLUE GOOSE HIGH ADVENTURE BASE has been established at Camp Napowan and is offering an exciting program consisting of SEVEN different opportunities for the older Scout or adult. Now included in the list of Nationally approved High Adventure Bases, the challenges awaiting older Scouts have been expanded from previous years to include Biking/Kayaking/ Climbing, Advanced Open Water Certification, and more. Full information can be found on the Council webpage at nwsc.org with a direct link to the High Adventure Base information. If there are additional questions, contact the Council program Office at 847-635-9404 or at mschultz@bsamail.org.
The Council High Adventure Committee has been established to oversee all High Adventure opportunities done at the Council level. This includes the Blue Goose High Adventure Base, National High Adventure Base treks (i.e. Sea Base, Philmont, Northern Tier, etc.) plus any other High Adventure Programs to be introduced to older Scouts and Venture Scouts.
The committee is looking for Scout and Venture leaders who would like to help by:

Promotions at District Roundtables, and at Camp Napowan (during mug club meetings, Leader Steak Fry, etc.) and working with the staff at Camp Napowan to help offer the best program possible.
·
