Council Product Sales Generate Over $468,000 for NWSC Units!
Special thanks to all units who participated in one or both product sales this year! Not only did you raise over $468,000 for your own units, but you helped add over $375,000 to the Council's budget as well.

Council Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Northwest Suburban Council is scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at Harper College.

Fall Scouting Success Stories
1400 new Scouts recruited by units in the first two months. This is awesome, but there are a few more things to do: a Scout is not a Scout until he is registered.

2003 Friends of Scouting HAT TRICK
Over 50 Scouters attended the 2003 FOS kickoff at the Wolves stadium. A presentation was done and received great reviews as got our Hat Trick off to a great start. Start early and make sure your Unit scores a "Hat Trick" in Friends of Scouting.

Scoutreach Roundtable
We are working extra hard to keep the kids busy all winter long and to have them back every year playing soccer and staying out of trouble.
Spacer Member Inventory
In the month of November and December, Units should be prepared to do their best to share information on youth that are in the their Scouting programs. Spacer Pow Wow
Come to the Pow Wow. Watch, learn, dance, and join in the fun. Native American craftsman will be there so mom can shop!
Spacer Philmont Update & News
Some 60 Scouts and Scouters will make the journey to scoutings Paradise” in July of 2003. . This trek is truly Scouting in action.

2003 promises interesting changes for Camp Napowan ...a complete review of all programs offered at Napowan is being conducted by senior staff members. . Improvements to all areas of the camp are being planned...
