Klondike Derby

The Snow is here and our thoughts will turn to the North Woods Klondike Derby. This years event will be held the weekend of January 24-26 at Camp Kuckamunga. This years events will again test the Scouts knowledge of the outdoors and winter skills. Plan now to attend this wonderful winter event. Cost is $6 per person. More information will be handed out at the December Roundtable.

First Aid Meet

Troop 159 will host this wonderful test of Scouts first Aid skills and knowledge on Saturday December 7th. The event will be held at St. Simons church 717 W. kirchoff Rd. in Arlington Heights. The cost for this event is $5.00 per Scout.

North Woods Annual Meeting

On Tuesday December 3rd, the North Woods District will hold its Annual Meeting and Elections. All current District Members at large and Chartered Organization Represtatives are encouraged to attend this event. All North Woods Unit leaders and volunteers are invited to be present as we elect our 2003 Distrcit Leadership teams and hear about all the success of the past year here in North Woods. The event will start with refreshments at 7:00pm and the meeting to start at 7:30pm. The event will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Dryden and Central in Arlington Heights.
