Troop Committee Training
This ONE SESSION training program is designed to help ALL CURRENT AND FUTURE troop committee members better understand their roles and responsibilities. This training will also enable troop committee members to support the troop, the Scoutmaster and scouts. Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters are also encouraged to attend.

District Annual Business Meeting

The Blackhawk District Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 7:30 PM at the Park Ridge Presbyterian Church (corner of Crescent and Delphia in Park Ridge). All Chartered Organization Representatives, District Members at Large, District Committee Members, and Unit Volunteers are encouraged to attend. We will be holding the annual elections, and a short business meeting followed by fellowship with refreshments! This is the best opportunity of the year for you to meet the new people that are essential to the Blackhawk District. Cub Scout Training Every youth deserves a trained leader! Cub Scout Specifics for Den Leaders, Webelos Leaders and Cubmasters is November 6th at Fairview South School in Skokie starts at 7PM. Cost is $12 and includes a Cub Scout Leader Handbook, handouts and refreshments. If you already have a Leader Handbook you will receive a voucher for the Scout Shop. Preregistration is encouraged.
