North Woods Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the North Woods District will be on Tuesday December 3, 2002. The event will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights. The annual Meeting is open to all members of the District; likewise the charter organization heads or representatives should attend this meeting from each of our many chartered partners. At the meeting we will hear about the successes of North Woods as well as elect the new Volunteer leadership of our District. The event will start at 7:30pm, with a social time at 7pm. The church is located at the corner of Dryden and Central in Arlington Heights. Fall Roundups – off to a great start!!!
After many boy talks and Rally nights the numbers are rolling in and it seems that North Woods is on track to be a growing District. One pack of 40 youths reported that at their recent rally night 30 new scouts showed up. While that is an extreme, there have been great stories from packs expressing that they have had success this year beyond last year. If you still want to hold a sign-up night or event contact Jim Scanlan at 847-465-9566 or Matt Skelly at 847-824-6875. Let's make sure that every kid is asked this year who knows a future eagle may join because you ask him.

Broken Bones and Band Aids
Well it is time again to hold the North Woods First Aid meet. Troop 159 from St. Simons Church in Arlington Heights will host the event. The event will be Saturday December 7, 2002 at St. Simons Church, 717 W. Kirchoff. The church is located behind Northwest Community Hospital. Check your November Roundtable boxes for more information on this once- every-two-years event. See you there.
