Spacer Tour Permit Processing

Recent changes in staff assignments in the Council Office included the processing of Tour Permits. Previously, units have been able to bring a Tour Permit to the Service Center and have it approved prior to departure. This has changed. Any Tour Permit brought to the Council Office will be processed within 24 – 72 hours and returned to the Tour Leader by mail (or by fax if a fax number is provided).

Faxed Tour permits will still be accepted, however, the 24 – 72 hour processing time still applies. Units currently faxing tour permits need to take this into consideration.

Should there be any questions regarding this policy, note that the first paragraph of the Local Tour Permit Application mandates the application be filed two weeks in advance of the scheduled activity. The Service Center Staff looks forward to assisting you in any way possible and will do what they can to expedite the processing of your applications. Spacer
