Hill Annual Election/Meeting
Thursday, December 18, 2003 7:30 p.m. at Frank
Moriarty's house. Chartered
Organizational Partners and Members At Large are invited to take part in this
election for the upcoming 2004 year. This
is a non uniform event & spouses are invited. Address
is 25 Middletree Lane: Take Rand (Rt
12) Northwest to Old McHenry Road. Take it right (east) about 1/2 mile.
The Subdivision on the right is called, Lakewood Estates, turn (R) to
Redwood Lane. At Sycamore street, take a left and then turn right on to
Middletree Lane. Take Middletree Lane all the way down to the cul-de-sac.
Frank's house is the white Brick house on the right side of the
cul-de-sac.

Be Prepared For the First Aid
Meet!
Shouts of "Call 911!" are echoing
in troop meetings throughout Northwest Suburban Council. Troops are brushing up on their first aid
skills preparing for the annual First Aid Meet. The First Aid Meet will be held Saturday, December 13th
in the Barrington Middle School at
Station Campus Barrington. The event
will get underway at 1PM.
Boy Scouts will be tested on first aid skills they have
learned while, advancing from Tenderfoot to First Class (see the Boy Scout Handbook),
earning the First Aid Merit Badge (see the First Aid Merit Badge book), or from
studying the Boy Scout Field Guide.
Scout Patrols of 6-8 boys will be involved in treating victims in
various first aid scenarios. A written
quiz will also be given to each patrol to act as a tiebreaker. A trophy and ribbons will be awarded to the
patrols that are best prepared for emergencies.
Troops may register more than one patrol for the
event. Details and forms for
registering may be found on the council website, announcements will be made at
Round Table meetings or call the council office for more information. Cost for the event is $5.50 per scout. Scouts may bring a sack lunch to the event.

Klondike Derby 2004 Update
Start
gearing up your troop for the 2004 Klondike Derby for the weekend of January 23rd. More information will continue to be
available at the December & January Boy Scout Roundtables. Stay tuned as
the volunteer committee for this great event continues to work hard to provide
a great time for our Boy Scouts!
Attention
All Tiger Cub Parents!
Don't forget
to set your calendar for January 17th, 2004. This will be our annual Tiger Time Fun Day, which
is the highlight of the year for Tiger Cubs.
More information is forthcoming at Roundtable. The event will be held at Barrington Middle School at Station
Campus and is an afternoon event. The event is packed with so much fun, that
even adults ask to return on staff to assist for future Tiger Time events!
