Staged at scenic Camp Lakota near Woodstock, Illinois, the 2003 Klondike promises ample opportunity to practice cold-weather Scout skills in a supervised setting. Patrols will guide their Klondike sleds from Town to Town along the Iditarod trail, meeting the Town Mayor and Alderman of each Town and performing feats of skill, teamwork and imagination.
While Saturday-only participants are welcome, all participating Patrols are invited to camp overnight.

Costs are $8 per participant: for Scouts, Scouters and Leaders. Forms are available at Roundtable, NWSC or at the Blackhawk Website.

This is a Patrol Event. Participating Patrols must bring a hand-built Klondike Sled, appropriate cold-weather clothing and camping gear, and all meals as described in this packet. See the page on Retort meals for instructions on Saturday lunch. Bring your Scout Skills and Scout Spirit. Be Prepared!
