FALL CAMPOREE 2003
"RESULTS"
This
years Signal Hill District's Fall Camporee is now one of life's special
memories. With many new friendships bonded and old friendships strengthened, it
was a huge success. Whether it was Crew 862's excellent Civil War
demonstration, the outstanding pioneering projects built, orienteering, the be
prepared race, fire building and team spirit, everyone had a great time.
This years camporee was concluded with an (as Steve Wright would put it)
"Awesome Fire". The skits and fire were organized and run by the
scouts from troops 964 and 93. All troops/patrols were invited to perform a
skit. All participated with very entertaining results. A special thanks goes
out to the leadership shown by Scouts Matt Tangen and Steve Wright and their
crew for making it happen. We also wish to "Thank" all those
folks that were on the Fall Camporee Committee, their hard work and dedication
was very much appreciated, Thank You again!
We look forward to next year.
Yours in Scouting,
Fall Camporee Co-Chairman
Joe Colangelo Troop 93
Mike Tangen Troop 964
