JOINCUBS.COM

Northwest Suburban Council Membership Committee and Marketing & PR Committee have partnered again to bring you another tool for your recruiting efforts this year.   NWSC has decided to provide Pack joining information on the www.joincubs.com web site.  The district has populated it's data and is available now.

WHAT IS JOINCUBS.COM?
Joincubs.com is a marketing web site to help prospective members join the fun, adventure, and learning of Cub Scouting. It is a collaborative project among councils throughout the United States offering a single web address to help boys and families find a Cub Scout Open House in their community.  Packs using the web site found this campaign led to a 16% increase in recruitment of new Cub Scout members last fall.

Using zip codes, visitors can find either the Cub Scout Packs in their area with the day, date, time and place of the new member sign-up meetings and/or contact information for their local Boy Scout Council.  Once all of the rally nights are over, we will update the new membership information on how to join your pack.  Note that we are NOT at this time putting any volunteer information on the site.

What do we we want you to do?

1)  look up your Pack's information - if there is an error - alert your DE

2)  if you have a web site - add a link to www.joincubs.com

3)  tell your boys about it, have them play the games & have them tell their friends!

4)  if you can think of any way we can improve this site, please send us a message.

Now is a great time to have boys Join Cubs and get started on their Scouting adventure!
