Brig. Gen. Halley to salute Scouting

You’ve seen him on WGN-TV and Feb. 20 you can see Brig. Gen. Nick Halley at NWSC’s Leadership Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield, 1800 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Gen. Halley, an Eagle Scout and an Army commander in three major conflicts, is a military and terrorism expert. Speaking on terrorism in today’s world, Halley also will offer insight on how Scouting prepares youth for the future. The event begins at 7 a.m. with registration and coffee, followed at 7:30 by breakfast and the general’s address. It ends at 8:30 a.m.

All Scouters and their corporate/community contacts are invited to attend this third annual fund-raising event and support the Council’s 18,000-plus program. There is no “ticket price,” but contributions will be requested.

Reservations are due Feb. 13. For more information, contact Dan Bettison at 847 824-6861.
