Philmont 2005 It’s time to make your plans for Philmont 2005! Every summer, the NWSC takes a contingent of 60 Scouts and adults to this breathtaking mecca of backpacking in the Sangre de Christo mountains. The 2005 trek is scheduled for July 10-24. All Scouts must be 14 or older by Jan. 1, 2005 or be age 13 and have completed the 8th grade. The cost is estimated at $1050/person. A non-refundable, but transferable deposit is due with your application. Space is limited so reserve your spot early. Sign-ups start Feb. 2, 2004. Only six participants per unit from Feb. 2-23.
