SCOUT EXECUTIVE'S MINUTE Dear Scouts: 
As Scout Executive, I am pleased to announce the following personnel changes. Effective July 1, 2005 Jason Erpelding will serve as Assistant Scout Executive for the Northwest Suburban Council replacing Dan Bettison. Jason has served as the NWSC’s Finance Director and Special Events Executive. Prior to moving to the NWSC, Jason served as both District Executive and Senior District Executive in Dubuque, Iowa. Jason has a BS in Business Administration from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, has served as a stockbroker with Ameritrade, and is married with one son. In his new role, Jason will provide leadership to the field staff in membership, units, quality, and finance operations.Darwin Walk will serve as Finance Director for the NWSC effective July 1, 2005 replacing Jason Erpelding. Darwin has served as the NWSC’s Learning for Life Executive for the past year. Prior to that assignment, Darwin served as a District Executive with the Chicago Area Council. Darwin has a BA in Psychology from Benedictine University in Naperville and is married. In his new role, Darwin will provide leadership to the council’s fundraising efforts in operating, capital, and endowment fields including product sales, FOS, special events, and United Way relations. Bill Burgess will serve as Senior District Executive for Blackhawk District of the NWSC effective July 1, 2005 replacing Megan Farrell. Bill has served on BSA local council staff’s for the past 17 years including Peoria, Chicago, Springfield, Zanesville, and Columbus. Bill has a BS in History from Indiana State University and is married. In his new role, Bill will provide leadership to the overall direction of Blackhawk District. It is our intention to interview a replacement Learning for Life Executive during the summer as well as a Camp Ranger for Napowan. As those vacancies are filled there will be announcements on the new personnel. Please congratulate and welcome Jason, Darwin, and Bill as they begin their new professional roles with the Northwest Suburban Council! Stephen J.
