Scouter of the Month - Bob Weaver
Our Scouter-of-the-Month, Bob Weaver is busy on both the Cub and Boy Scouting fronts. After completing a three year term as Committee Chair of Pack 496, Bob is serving as Assistant Cubmaster. He’s also an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 496.Bob’s success in running the administrative side of the Pack is quite evident. Pack 496 was awarded “Pack-of-the-Year” and it is one of the top-ranking units in the council for gross popcorn sales. Recently, Bob was selected to be an Assistant Scoutmaster for the 2005 National Scout Jamboree. He’s also served as the Pathfinder district’s Vice-Chairman of Finance for the past two years. Bob is a life-long resident of the northwest suburbs – a graduate of St. Viator High and Western Illinois University where he received a degree in Industrial Education and Technology. Bob works as a manufacturer’s representative for Bradley Corporation and regularly works with architects, engineers, general and plumbing contractors. He is active in a variety of industry trade associations. Bob, his wife, daughter and three sons live in Roselle. Our thanks to Bob Weaver for his many contributions to Scouting, and congratulations as our new “Scouter-of-the-Month.” |
