Scouter of the Month - Laura Camilieri Laura is a Webelos Leader for Pack 297 in Hoffman Estates that is chartered by “Group of Citizens” at Macarthur School. Laura is married and has two children—Stevie and Jennifer. Laura’s husband, Jeff, is the Cubmaster and the committee chairman for the Pack. Laura has been employed by Advocate Medical Group for the past 10 years. Laura not only serves as her Pack’s Webelos leader but she helps keep her husband organized as he leads the Pack. As an enthusiastic leader, Laura helpful to the Pack’s other leaders. In the Pathfinder District, Laura coordinates Cub Scout training activities. She is also District Pinewood Derby. Laura served as the chairperson of the Scout Night events with the Schaumburg Flyers that took place this past June and July. Nearly three thousand of scouts, scouters and their families enjoyed these very popular events. Laura’s interest outside of Scouting led her to becoming the Chair for the Schaumburg Flyers events. For the past three summers, Laura’s family has hosted one or two Flyer’s players a year by providing their housing for the entire season. Laura, on behalf of the Pathfinder District and the Northwest Suburban Council Scouts and Scouters thank you for your enthusiastic leadership and contributions to the NWSC Scouting program.
