Scouter of the Month - North Woods District is proud to honor Rick Domzalski as the Scouter of the Month Award.

Rick Domzalski has served as the North Woods District Vice-Chair of Program for the past 2 years. This position assumes the ultimate responsibility for the Advancement, Activities and Civic Service, Camping and Training committees at the District level. Rick has worked hard to provide direction to these committees, and has also helped to recruit new committee members. He has also been an active participant in their activities, serving on the Webelos Outdoor Weekend, and Klondike Derby (Cub Scout) staffs, and on the Okpik and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills staffs. At the council level, Rick has chaired Webelos Weekend I at Napowan for the past 2 years.

In 2006 Rick received the North Woods District’s Tall Pines Award in recognition of his efforts and accomplishments in the District.

Currently, Rick is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 270 and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He attended Wood Badge course C-25-05 and is currently working on completing his Wood Badge projects.

Rick is employed by Molex in Naperville, and lives in Mt. Prospect with his wife Sue and their two sons – Dennis, a Life Scout, who recently completed his Eagle Project and is employed at the NWSC Scout Shop, and Kyle, a Life Scout. In case you haven’t heard, they are an avid White Sox family!

Congratulations Rick and thank you for your contributions to the North Woods District.
