SCOUT EXECUTIVE'S MINUTE
Dear Fellow Scouters:
Scout Executive Steve Taylor announces the following personnel news: Effective January 16, 2008, Brian Mulcrone of Bloomingdale will serve as District Executive for the Pathfinder District of the Northwest Suburban Council.Previously, Brian has served as an Information Technology Consultant with his own firm dealing with systems training and performance development as well as a programmer, analyst, trainer, and implementer. Brian has served as an Assistant Council Commissioner for Training for the past five years, as a Council Vice President for Program for three years, and as a District Chairman in the former Illiniwek/Blackhawk District.He is one of the original faculty members of Lord Baden-Powell University, a Life Scout, and Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow who also served on the Napowan Staff as a youth. Originally from Niles, Brian is a chapter officer the Vietnam Veterans of America, a member of the VFW, and the American Legion having been a US Army Sergeant. He holds a Bachelor's degree in history and social studies from Loyola University of Chicago. Effective January 1, 2008, Don Hough of Hoffman Estates will serve as a Part Time Camp Marketing Intern for the Northwest Suburban Council.Don recently served as Region Chief for the Central Region of the Order of the Arrow, Section Chief, and Lakota Lodge Chief.Don is an Eagle Scout and student at Harper College in Palatine. Don will be working on Day Camp, Resident Camp, and Summer Camp promotion. Effective January 1, 2008, Sue Domzalski of Mount Prospect will serve as Part Time Finance Support Secretary for the Northwest Suburban Council. Previously, Sue has served as an Editor for a publishing company. Sue has served as NWSC Assistant Vice President for Finance working with the Family FOS Campaign, and as Council Popcorn Sales Chair Committee Member in the past. She has also co-chaired the North Woods District Dinner for two years, chaired the NWSC Webelos Weekend for several years along with her husband, Rick, been the Camp Coordinator for her Boy Scout Troop, and a Merit Badge Counselor.
